Type the states you cover. In a second you will see how many practices we hold there, what their websites say, which brands they name and what they publish as prices.
“I know roughly how many practices are in Texas. I don't know which ones are on NexHealth, which ones are on nothing, and which of the ones on nothing are big enough to pay me.”
The filters, in plain English
In Find practices:
Country: US, State: Texas
Online booking: none found on their website
Google reviews: 200 or more
Then run it again with Online booking: NexHealth to see the other half of the board. There is no ready-made No online booking card for the US, so this one is built in the search screen.
The count, then the practices
We have read 78,027 US practice websites: 9,837 name an online booking system and 68,190 name none. In Texas: 7,037 practices and 5,946 websites read, of which 895 name a booking vendor and 5,051 name none. 2,772 of those 5,051 have 200 or more Google reviews.
And you can see exactly who holds the ones that are taken, practice by practice: NexHealth 226, Zocdoc 144, LocalMed 143, Adit 123, Weave 88, Doctible 41, Yapi 34, RevenueWell 30, Dentrix Ascend 29, Solutionreach 26, Flex Dental 11.
Four of the 2,772, from the busy end:
| Practice | City | Rating | Reviews | Patient finance named | Running ads |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bear Creek Family Dentistry | Dallas | 4.9 | 2,872 | CareCredit, Sunbit | None seen |
| Pflugerville Family Dentistry | Pflugerville | 4.8 | 2,713 | CareCredit, Cherry | Yes |
| Green Family Dental | El Paso | 4.9 | 2,628 | Sunbit | Yes |
| Kyle Parkway Dentistry | Kyle | 4.9 | 2,390 | Cherry | Yes |
Rating and reviews from each practice's Google listing. Finance providers and booking are read from the website. “Running ads” is an advert live on Google's or Facebook's own public ad register when we looked. Read from the database on 23 September 2026.
The evidence, its source, its date
- The review count and rating are from the practice's Google listing, dated. For this audience they are a size proxy and nothing else: 2,600 reviews means a lot of patients going through a phone.
- “Running ads” means an advert for that practice was live on Google's or Facebook's own public ad register when we looked. Not a tracking tag on the website: the advert itself. A practice buying traffic and taking bookings only by phone is losing the evening half of what it paid for.
- The finance provider is named on their own site, with the sentence kept. Nationally, 38,843 US practices name at least one: CareCredit 35,133, Cherry 6,659, Sunbit 5,031, LendingClub Patient Solutions 2,652, Proceed Finance 1,524, Alphaeon 854, GreenSky 201, Wells Fargo Health Advantage 81.
- Read it in either direction. No vendor named plus high volume is winnable. A named rival is a displacement, and you now know which one, in which city, so your comparison page can stop being generic.
What changed, and when
Green Family Dental in El Paso had an advert live on Google's or Facebook's own public ad register when we looked, names Sunbit for patient finance, holds 2,628 reviews at 4.9, and had no booking path we could follow on the site that day.
Paid traffic arriving at a phone line is two dated facts about the same practice on the same day, and that is the only timing this list has. The United States files nothing that dates a software decision the way a UK register entry dates a new practice.
2,772 Texas practices with 200 or more reviews named no booking vendor on the day we read them. Some will have installed one since. The date on the row is what it is, and it is printed for that reason.
The arithmetic, shown at three levels
The nearest alternative charges $149 a month for Pro, $449 for Team and from $12,000 a year for Corporate, and hands over a clinic list. This is $49 a month, $588 a year, and 2,772 named Texas practices with a size number and a dated read of their website.
The monthly contract value of one practice, held four years, against the seat:
| If one contract is worth per month | Kept for four years that's | Against a seat at $49/month |
|---|---|---|
| $199 | $9,552 | 16 years of the seat |
| $349 | $16,752 | 28 years of the seat |
| $599 | $28,752 | 48 years of the seat |
A founding seat is $49 a month, $588 a year.
One contract. Texas alone has 2,772 more behind it, and there are forty-nine other states.
The gaps, before you find them
Which practice management system sits behind the booking. We can see a booking widget or a vendor script on the public site. We cannot see the software on the desk. Where the two overlap, as with Dentrix Ascend or Curve, we hold it because the booking page gave it away, not because we know what they run.
How many of the 68,190 truly have nothing. Some take bookings through a portal we cannot follow, or through their insurance network's site. The number is a count of what we read, not a census of what exists.
We have no ownership records outside the UK. A shared website suggests a group, and we say “suggests”. There is no US Companies House, so we cannot tell you who signs.
The counts are practices, not decision makers. Multi-site groups appear once per location. Check the group column before you promise a pipeline number.
What the practice sees about itself. Not the financial half of the record. Company filings, filed accounts and warning signs are rendered on a subscriber's view of a practice and never on a practice-facing one, in either direction. There is little of it to hold in the United States, and the rule is written once for both markets.
Questions
How do you know a website has no online booking?
We read the site and looked for a booking system we recognise. "None found" is what the page showed on the date shown, not a fact about the practice. Where we find one, we name it.
Is "newly registered" the same as "just opened"?
No. A register entry means the practice is licensed. We never claim an opening date, and we say which of the four kinds of registration it is: genuinely new, an existing owner expanding, a new company behind an existing practice, or a change of hands.
Can I export a list into our own system?
Yes. Spreadsheet export, up to 5,000 practices at a time, with each fact's source and date in their own columns. There is no programmatic access (an API) yet.
